ABOUT ME

I'm a 30-year-old student from Germany. I'm a fun-loving, outgoing, open-minded person and I love travelling, getting to know other people and cultures!
So far, I've mainly lived in Germany, grew up in the North, but chose to study in the beautiful city of Freiburg in the Black Forest. I've travelled quite a bit across Europe, mainly backpacking as you always meet so many nice people at hostels with similar attitudes! During high school I've lived in New Zealand for a year with a host family and loved it there extremely! I have spent one year of my studies at UBC, Vancouver, Canada which was also an amazing time. There, I have started rock-climbing which very quickky became one of my sport passions, besides snowboarding and hiking. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do those things for a while now due to some health issues. But I've slowly fought my way back into live and though i still need more resting time than others of my age and haven't fully recovered yet, I am confident that I will soon! I hope I will be able during my current travels to NZ and Australia to slowly increase my hiking abilities again and maybe even be able to start rock-climbing again!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently​ travelling around New Zealand and Australia. Last time I lived in NZ, i never got the chance of travelling much so I'm so excited to finally see the South island and also part of Australia! I'm so glad to be able to see my old high school friends here but I also want to meet new people and I think couch surfing is a great way to do so!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed a few couches so far but all those were great experiences! Hopefully, when I've settled down again after these travels, I'll live in an apartment that offers the possibility of hosting people, would love to keep up the international friendly spirit!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

did the west coast trail on vancouver island with a friend of mine in five days - had the most amazing time, just being out in nature and challenging myself like that! got to see some incredible wildlife and beautiful landscape!!!
