ABOUT ME

I am a "mature" woman, friendly and easygoing, with many interests. I have lived in southeast Utah for the past 17 years and have been a ranger in the national parks, working with adults and also the local schoolkids. I love being out in nature wherever I am and I am an avid vegetable gardener. I am also a musician who plays mostly Irish music. I lead the local contra dance band.

PHILOSOPHY

Anything can happen at any time (and probably will!). Look at things from the other person's point of view. Listen. Stay calm. As far as possible, don't worry and stay in the present.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couchsurfing so haven't participated yet. For now, I cannot host because I don't have my own home but I intend to become a host when I do-- and I hope that is soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any direct couchsurfing experiences yet but I am currently staying with a very nice person who regularly hosts international couchsurfers in his home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic music for any instrument, and how to play the pennywhistle, the recorder, and the concertina. I would be happy to tune your piano in exchange for a couch! I am also a very experienced organic gardener, and I can help you edit your book.
