ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Miriam, but pretty much everyone calls me Mim.
I'm at Uni doing Science which most of the time does my head in but i kinda like it.
Saving up for my next trip to Camobdia this summer!
I'm a pretty chilled person. All i really want to do at the moment is meet new people (that's you), discover new things and just be happy.

Interests

I'm interested in pretty much anything at all. Talk to me about anything you want and i promise i'll talk back.
I love to Travel and to talk about travel and everythinng that that includes (history, cultures art...)
i really enjoy studying biology because i am actually interested in it! I really enjoy learning about what we are made of and why we function the way we do.
I enjoy creative writing although i would never let anyone read it unless it was an exam piece. i'm pretty left wing and like learning about and hearing open-minded people discussing politics. I want to volunteer in Cambodia, i love that place and it's beautiful people. I love the beach, surfing, swimming and sailing, i grew up in a costal town where it was the only thing to do apart from school. And i love camping, proper camping with no power and a BBQ.
I really like a good night out with my fun friends but i also love sitting around & having a beer. I love going to the cinema. Oh i love to cook, mostly savoury things. I love reading too, i'll read anything and everything. I especially enjoy reading the newspaper after dinner with a cup of tea and a biscuit. I like doing yoga and i like to run with my dog. i can't think of anything else at the moment but there is probably more

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music, i love MUSE the most at the moment (it has been this way for years) but i also love listening to any type of rock music, or beautiful lyrics. I don't mind the odd 80's hit to dance to either. And i don't seek pop music although i do think Lady Gaga is pretty funny. I really like Peter, Bjorn and John at the moment. i also love Bob Dylan, and thanks to my Dad i actually don't mind Johnny Cash.
Agatha Christie is probably my favourite author as her books are so entertaining and easy to read. And Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird. I like Scandinavian crime writers too (eg.Arctic Chill by Vetrarborgin)
Movies i like are Picnic at Hanging Rock, O Brother Where Art Though? jeez lots more too.
