I think of myself as curious, open-minded and uncomplicated. I am very adaptable and enjoy meeting people from all over the world, experiencing how other people live, going with their "flow" for a while... friends appreciate me for being emphatic, making them laught, being a little crazy.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would enjoy hosting people from the rest of the world in Vienna, but my couch is not even large enough for me sleeping comfortable on it (and I am really small) and since an unfortunate try to wash my matrace I can hardly offer it to anyone... (IKEA matraces shrink when washed... don't ever try even if it says washable!)
For those who are willing to bring travel-matraces (and sleeping bags) I can offer some nice, clean spots in my one-room apartment...
For all others, I would like meeting you nevertheless and show you my wonderful chosen hometown trough non-touristic eyes!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

one of my first hosts is now among my closest friends - so far I was really lucky, I'd say :)

Música, películas y libros

I kind of fell in love with Ed Wood... It broke my heart to see how he can be so enthusiastic about something that doing he sucked so badly...

Music that I appreciate has to move me in some way... right now I am moved by the soundtrack of "into the wild", I get the shivers when listening to Woven Hand's "dirty blue", and when I listen to the tallest man on earth telling me that he tries to be forgotten when he's gone.

in my experience people can be parted in those who despise John Irving and those who adore him... I adore John Irving, no one knows better how to create unique human characters... one of his less well known books "A prayer for Owen Meany" simply blew my mind!

watching an art student draw in the middle of medicine students who were studying with dead bodies... a weird, unique situation.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Amazing handmade fair trade chocolate from Austria that comes in more than 300 flavors... you can pick a classic as nougat (yammi), go for a little more unique flavor as apricot-poppy seed (my favorite) or go totally crazy on moutnain cheese chocolate, aspargus chocolate, and who knows what!
