I like to shine and to travel. Often I'm travelling alone but I don't like to be alone. Fortunately there are many friendly people in this world.

First big travelling adventure was my year as a fille au pair near Aix en Provence (France) after finishing school. Great time and I still have some good friends from this periode. I could use the family car and went of with my friends to explore the Côta d'Azur. We didn't have much money therefore we found creative solutions.

During my studies I went a half year to Chile for an Internship. Very interesting and very challenging because I didn't speak any spanish as I came there. I lived in a shared apartment with some crazy guys. From this time I've got one friend that I met several times afterwards.

Next oportunity for a longer trip was when our 2. son was born. We went for 3 month through Scandinavia. It was a good opportunity to grow together and we loved the nature.

And than I decided to live my dreams so I took one year of for travelling. First I went on a hiking tour in the north of sweden. I wanted to go there since I saw the landscape on our big Scandinavia tour. Than I started a Vantour across the Balkans. I never did a Vantour and by the way it was the first time I drove that Van.
Christmas at home with my lovely family and than to a warmer country, cuba. This was very interesting and I learned some Salsa, I love it. On my way back I stayed at Spain and France and started CS, great experience. On a family trip to Venice, we had some birthdays to celebrate. And after this I went to south america to meet a lot of friends I didn't see for years. It was great!

And now I'm off again where the wind will takes me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People are interesting and making places alive. Without them it is like watching pictures on google maps. This platform is a very good idea. And I found friends that I saw several times. The world is so beautiful.

Interests

I like my photos and to design photo albums because I like to create and to remember good times.

I play a lot of board games with my family. We love games like "The Settlers of Catan". Our newest game is "Clonck!", a deck building adventure.

Hiking is like a meditation for me and dancing makes me happy. I play a little bit guitar and l like live music from heavy metal to jazz, from salsa to traditionel irish music. I'm curious about the world and the people, the history and the different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock musik like Powerwolf, Iron Maiden, Amon Amarth, Dragon Force, Rammstein, Eisbrecher... But my favorite song is "the final cut" by Pink Floyd.

I read a lot of books. The Dark Tower, Metro, die Zwerge (the dwarves), die Legenden der Albae... and I like to read storys that plays in the country I am. After "the glasmaker" in Venice I red "La casa de los espíritus" in Chile.

I loved games of thrones and I like action movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw nothern lights in Norway, beautiful! But I think one of the best moments was as I was hitchhiking in Chile. I was lying in the back of a pick-up driving through the middle of nowhere and looking at a starry sky that I don't know.
