Hi, I'm Mirja and I am twenty-one :)
I live in Wiesbaden, near Frankfurt but I am originally from Kiel in the north of Germany.
I made my first CS experiences almost 7 years ago when I was travelling Europe via Interrail and continued surfing peoples' couches ever since. I spend an amazing year in Australia and moved to Frankfurt to become a camera woman and editor. Now, I study Media Management in Wiesbaden and still travel a lot during my holiday.

My next destination is Portugal in September. Apart from that I am very active and open and would like to get to know even more countries and cultures :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Well, of course I love traveling, meeting people from different cultures and having fun with them. I already visited many countries with my parents or with friends and I always loved it to know some people after being there.

I can't host any travelers because I live in a small shared flat but as soon as I have my own apartment I want to host some travellers as well!

Interessen

I like sports such as playing tennis, handball and pole sport.
I often go out with friends at the weekend to party and to have a drink.
I'm really interested in working with media like television and sound recording. I often make movies and cut them for friends or make festival aftermovies. At school I did the microphone stuff for the theater and record some songs. It's really fun!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love electro and hardcore music. It seems to be a little crazy but that doesn't mean that I'm not open for other styles :D
I like science fiction and thrillers most. I'm a fan of many series like breaking bad, prison break, touch and orange is the new black :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

There are many amazing moments in every trip I've done. For example beeing on a ferry going under the Brooklyn Bridge on new years eve. Or beeing in a 'house tent' in South Africa with a hyena going around it. Or spending the last new years eve on a friend's sailing boat in Sydney harbour. Or...
