Overview
About Me
I am a moderately well-travelled seeker of beautiful moments. I have found many of those in Erasmus+ projects - informal learning gatherings of young people where human connection can sprout easier. Although I do love drifting in the relaxed wave of the natural world, I am also thoroughly interested in everything human, and thus keep a curious mind to diverse human phenomena and people in general. This is why it is so interesting to me to listen and get to know different people; people's lived realities, experiences, mindsets, values, beliefs, understanding of the world and what it means to be human are vastly different. Often we don't even cognize the shape of our mind and in what ways our thoughts flow, but it is oh-so-interesting and almost marvellous to observe the diversity of the landscapes of people's minds when you get to know them.
The cultural and hence societal aspects of course play a huge role in such diversity, which is why my academic interests lie in sociology - the study of society, why it is the way it is and works the way it does.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet beautiful people, hear interesting stories, have thought-provoking discussions, and above all, learn more about this world we inhabit. If I can do that by either offering or being offered a roof above my head when travelling, even better. :)
