To live a healthy and sustainable lifestyle while enjoing life in all it's facets. To meet people, I didn't know and try to understand their life and their philosophy of life.

ABOUT ME

I'm a student, environmental sciences at ETH Zürich. Studying takes a lot of time, effort and nerves. But I like to learn new things and one day I want a good job so I continue studying and most of the time I like doing it. Why I'm studying environmental sciences: it is my conviction that we have to change the way we treat nature and the earth. By doing so I'm convinced that we don't loose our good and comfortable life but we gain a lot in terms of life quality. (I would love discussing this point with other couchsurfers;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and doing it with couchsurfing is so much more interesting and fun than staying at a hotel where you only get the tips that all the other tourists get. I want to know where the locals hang out and where you definitely shouldn't go because it's way to expensive. And after all travelling is all about getting to know a different culture and how can you achieve that better than getting to know real locals ;)

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of things. In my free time I do a lot of sports: horse riding, parcour, hiking and acrobatics. It is a great balance to studying all day long. But I also like to hang out with friends while eating great food and having abnormal conversations. I'm a lazy person I admit, so just lying on the couch the whole day while watching a movie can occur occasionaly but with studying I don't have a lot time to do that
I still want to learn russian and portuguese. One dream of me that I will fullfill as soon as I have my bachelors degree is staying at a meditation place for at least a month.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read almost everything, I don't like movies that are very violent or the Star Wars. I love to watch documentaries but also blockbusters. I like fantasy books, like Harry Potter (these stories are my childhood, so don't say anything bad about HP unless you want to start a big discussion with me about it!)) and The Lord of the Rings. The Kite Runner is an amazing book.

I'm convinced that we all can learn from each other but this is different from person to person so I'm curious with what I can learn and teach with other couchsurfers around the globe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my energy, time and stories about living in Zurich, but I also want to listen to your stories. And I'm always up to doing crazy and fun stuff so if you're looking for someone for an adventure I'm in!
