ABOUT ME

I live in Thailand (by the beach) and I love travelling. I haven't used Couchsurfing for a very long time, but would like to pick it up again. I used to live in Amsterdam and I've had so many positive experiences with hosting, surfing and meetups. Now i live in Thailand and would like to make some new experiences!

Long time ago I've been on a world trip for one year in 2005/2006. (Siberia, China, India, South-east Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Cook islands, California, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico).

In summer 2008, I went travelling for 7 weeks. (New York City, Vancouver and Vancouver Island, Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand.)

After that I did some shorter trips to Riga, Madrid, Lisbon and New York and Thailand again.

In 2015 I moved to Thailand and have lived here for 4 years now. I live in a beach condo in Na Jomtien, which is about 2 hours drive south from Bangkok.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting and surfing! I love to meet other people and make new friendships. And I love to hear stories from all over the world. But due to my busy live it's not always possible...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only got very good experiences with our couchsurfers. They all brought a lot of fun. I surfed a couch once in NYC and it was a great experience. I knew the host already, because he surfed my couch first. Hopefully I will get some more surf experiences soon!

-Christmas in Thailand
-liveaboard divingtrip in Thailand
-stayed over for 3 nights in a longhouse-tribe in the jungle from Malaysian Borneo
-driving 15500km in Australia
-diving at the Yongala Wreck in Australia
-skiing in Queenstown, New Zealand
-diving at the Cookislands
-climb on a Maya temple in Mexico
-dive in a cavern 'Dos Ogos', Mexico
-party on a rooftop terrace in Manhattan, NYC
-play roulette in Las Vegas and Macau
-danced for 5 nights on Sziget festival in Budapest :)
-Flew in sea plane to the Maldives
-Flew in a Cesna to the beautiful island Lady Elliot Island and made some incredible dives there - and saw whales!
-Celebrated NYE in Dubai on a yacht with a DJ
-Drove in camper around Australia
