Please note: we offer a space for your tent/campervan/bus. With bad weather you can sleep on the sofa, but as we live very small we prefer campers!

Hi!
Crazy and spontaneous as I am, I usually come up with very adventurous ideas and act upon them before I have time to rethink.
As an example I cycled from Austria to China and immediately afterwards immigrated to Switzerland. I am now back in the Netherlands after having spend the last 8ish years abroad.

I am passionate about the outdoors, love being in nature and love all aspects around it. I have been very fortunate to have experienced many incredible moments in beautiful nature reserves all over the world. For instance during my hitchhiking adventures in Oceania or my cycletours through Europe, Central and South East Asia. Travelling by bicycle (with a tent) allows me to get as close to nature as possible, which can be magnificent but also challenging at times.
A few potentially dangerous but at the same time exciting moments, where being chased by an agressive camel in the desert and seeing a fully grown bear in the forest just meters away from my tent.

I am looking forward to meeting travelers and locals alike to share stories and have fun in the mountains.

It is interesting to meet other people's homes, as it says a lot about their culture. Unfortunately I have not always had good experiences and therefore NO LONGER HOST PEOPLE WITH AN EMPTY PROFILE. 兴趣

As I prefer living in mountainous areas and am usually outside in my spare time, I am passionate about all sorts of outdoor sports. Including but not limited to cycling, hiking, climbing, skiing, snowshoe hiking and ice skating.

As the Netherlands is very mountainous (🤔🤨), I am a natural talent for all things mountains. Ahum. My skiing skills are close to none existing and my climbing is worse than a panda's.
But as fun is always the number one for me, I really enjoy laughing about my own stupidity and can sometimes also make other people feel comfortable about their own clumsiness as they have finally met a person even worse than themselves.
