I am from Slovakia, but I'm not satisfied with sitting at home and watching TV. So I study in Czech republic and my life is quite active. I do not want to miss any opportunity either connected with my subject of study (psychology) or elsewhere. Traveling is definitely one of those opportunities I value. I appreciate the opportunity to meet people, see their country, speak with them etc. It helps me to see the world from the wider view.

I did some traveling with some friends and I liked that. On the other hand, I realized that If I want to know the people and the culture of the country I am visiting I need to be with them more. For this reason, I consider the Couchsurfing to be a too great opportunity to be missed.

My most amazing feelings are often connected with some act of altruism. E.g. I know some people on wheelchairs and I really like every opportunity to do something special with them - rafting, rappel etc. These people are so happy even if the activity is quite simple. To see their happiness is very encouraging.
