ABOUT ME
I have been a globetrotter since I was 23. I lived in Portugal, UK, USA, Netherlands, Germany before going back to live in Rome.

When I travel, I tent to look for real connections, to understand how people live, love and die. I'm fascinated by the beauty of the simple things and by people's passion and creativity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been in CS since 2006 and it has been an eye opening experience since its beginning. When you host, you do not only open your place to a stranger; you decide that mutual Trust and Generosity are possible in the World.

Back in 2009 , I've co-organized gathering on sustainable hospitality networks for long term travellers in NY and Montreal.

Since 2011 I have slowed down hosting on CS for several reasons, and I continued to use CS when solo-travelling.

I hope to reconnect to its vibes once in Padova.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing! Specially at the beginning. In 2006, there were fewer hosts and travellers were looking for connections more than for a couch to crush on.

I consider references important for the community trust-building. I love to spend a good amount of time thinking about the person I write to. I find it an important moment to figure out what I've learned about myself and the other person thanks to our encounter.

Talking with someone for few minutes in a meeting or at an event is not enough for me to leave a reference.

I love to spent time in nature. Camping. Dancing. Riding my bike. Being inspired. People-watching. Cooking with friends. Going to Theatre. Meditation. People development. Meaningful conversations. Learning from kids.
