ABOUT ME

I'm a person that is staring at this part "About me" and wondering what should I tell. Sometimes I can talk for hours and sometimes I can spent days all by myself in silence, although my mind is overfull of any kind of thoughts. So many things in life that I remember, notice, wish for. I love to carry all of that with myself. As I get on a trip I try to pack only the most important stuff, but as of life being journey itself - I need absolutely everything 'cause only the sum of it makes me who I really am.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everything is possible if you know what you want and have courage to reach for it. I accept the fact that during time some wishes change, so we can peacefully let them go. I also believe that always something better comes out of things I considered as bad. It may happen really fast or it may take a little bit longer, but I believe in life getting better and better ^^

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've joined this community few years ago and I kind of abandoned it. I've got stuck in routine of work. But now things changed, I'm feeling happy as ever, looking forward to meet new people, visit new places, get on a new adventures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience as couchsurfer was few years ago in Warsaw. Stayed with three crazy (only in a good way) girls who made my stay unforgetable.

Second time was in Rio de Janeiro. I was traveling with my sister and her boyfriend and he was the one who found us temporary home. We stayed with four amazing people, who even welcomed us with home made local food. We had such a great time together that we end up becoming friends and keep in contact till this day.

I was traveling through Brazil via workaway program, which is more or less like couchsurfing, so if we count that, there were more beds that I slept on.

Interests

I live in a country with four seasons, so I can't imagine my summer without camping and festivals, autumn without movies and books, winter without table games and writing, spring without photography and long long walks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Into the Wild; American History X; Trainspotting; The Beach; Moulin Rouge; Harry Potter; Stay; and many others. I also can't imagine my life without television sitcoms "Friends" and "How I Met Your Mother". I keep on watching them over and over again.

Books: Chuck Palahniuk "Fight Club"; Stephen King "Needful Things"; Jack Kerouac "On the Road"; Irvine Welsh "Trainspotting"; Einar Mar Gudmundsson "Angels of the Universe"... +poetry

Music: old and alternative rock, metalcore, classical music (especially live orchestra), modern music. I like to say that I can listen to any kind of music, because that's true, it's just that I rather listen to rock but to electronic music I'll definitely dance too ^^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked into Pico da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. It's not high, but it was especially significant for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching:
I can teach the very basic chords of acoustic guitar, how to make a paper crane or anything else you need and that I am capable of.

Learning:
I'm open to the world, so I will enjoy learning anything that it's going to teach me .
