Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Miruna, a 20-year-old student from Romania, currently planning an Interrail adventure across Europe with my 18-year-old brother. We’re excited to explore new cultures, meet people from different backgrounds, and see more of the world beyond the usual tourist paths.
I’d say I’m thoughtful, curious, and open-minded. I love meaningful conversations, quiet moments in nature, and spontaneous experiences. While this trip is about seeing new places, it’s also about connection — and that’s what brought me to Couchsurfing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We’re travelling on a student budget and want to make the most of this experience — not just by saving money, but by meeting kind locals, sharing stories, and getting a real feel for each city. We don’t want to just pass through places, but to connect with the people who live there and hear their stories too.
Couchsurfing seems like a beautiful way to make travel more human.

Music, Movies, and Books
My most listened to artists/bands are: Billie Eilish, Hozier, Mitski, SZA, og Maneskin, to name a few. I am always trying to listen to a variety of genres and my top 5 would be: Alternative, Pop, R&B/Soul, Hip-Hop/Rap, Rock.
My favourite books are: the Song of Achilles I who have never known men, Circe, and my current read is Babel.
My favourite movies/series are: Fleabag, Arcane, 10 things I hate about you, Money Heist, OHSHC, The Good Place, TVD, Dead Poets Society, Encanto, Moana, and Twilight.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’m about to do it — travel across Europe with my brother on a shoestring budget, using only trains/buses, our backpacks, and good energy! But apart from that: during university, I have been working on game projects, and my most recent was a game adaptation of "I Who have never known men", where players explored their emotions through choices. It was challenging and personal, and seeing it come together was one of the most fulfilling things I’ve done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook a few healthy, budget-friendly meals (especially if you like simple, tasty food), share tips on fitness or travel planning, or show you some beginner drawing or journaling techniques. I can also talk about Romanian culture or help with basic Romanian language!
I’d love to learn about your local customs, language, favourite recipes, and your life stories — big or small. I’m curious about different perspectives and love learning how people live and think in other parts of the world.
We can share good chats over tea or drinks, music, movie recommendations, and travel experiences. I’m also happy to help with cooking, tidying, or whatever small tasks make your hosting easier — and of course, we’ll always bring positive energy and respect for your space.
