Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In fact, I couch-surfed once even before becoming a CS member, I liked it and signed in. I've surfed few more times afterwards and always met wonderful people. I like discovering new places and seeing them through the eyes of the people living there and listen to their stories.

Interests

I like to spend my free time with my friends or in nature, or both at the same time. Chatting at the fireplace after a hike, running in the forest or climbing after work, or just meet and talk about whatever that's happening in the world or in our lives. And when on my own, I like sitting at my piano or grabbing a good book.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies based on real stories or tackling daily life issues. But, lately, I enjoyed also watching some documentaries on different topics.

My favorite book is The Little Prince by A. de Saint Exupéry, which is so tiny but I can always find something new in it. If possible, I like to read books in the original language. Usually, I choose the genre according to the current mood, recommendations or sometimes just coincidence.

And the music depends on the mood, too. Usually, I prefer some indie-folk or indie-pop type of music, Icelandic bands or instrumental music like Philip Glass

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After years of dreaming of Africa, I traveled to Burkina Faso and spend 3 months there as a volunteer at a local NGO
