I live alone with 2 little dogs in an apartment in Nerima, Tokyo. I am a mother of two married daughters, and a gramma of a girl and a baby boy. I love meeting people; I'm an easy-going person. I have been working as a translator for 35 years, and I just retired. I love dogs and animals. Now that I have retired and I have time, I travel a lot inside and outside Japan. I like visiting places, enjoy sightseeing, local food and shopping. So far I have visited so many countries and met many nice people. Where I live is a town not too far from Tokyo station, not too busy, confortable. Very close to nearby station, from where train access to any town in Tokyo is very good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to host an English/French speaking female who is interested in Japan, and to help her spend pleasant time. When I was university student, I stayed in a family in Switzerland where I studied French, and the family was such a great host; they helped me and treated me like I was their own family member. I think maybe now it's my turn to do the same thing to people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a room available with one bed, but if you want to stay with a friend, there is a set of futon so that one of you can sleep in it on the floor. I can help you with your to-do-lists you want, give information, research places, or accompany you if you want. I can provide you with Japanese/European style breakfast. If you want, we can cook together.
