About Me

Since April 2025, I’ve been traveling around the world on a long-term journey. I love meeting people, listening to their stories, and sharing thoughts and meals across cultures. I’m a calm and easygoing person, often found taking photos, wandering quiet streets, or joining spontaneous conversations.

Couchsurfing, for me, is all about connection — not just staying at someone’s home, but sharing moments, learning from each other, and feeling at home in the world.
I value kindness, curiosity, and the kind of silence that’s comfortable between friends. Looking forward to meeting you and learning something from our time together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to stay locally and make good friends around the world 🌎 Because I really enjoy learning about local cultures wherever I go.
The most significant advantage of Couchsurfing for me is that I get to interact with the locals. I have many memories of my trip, such as the beautiful buildings, delicious food, and history of the area, and I want to enjoy them both as a tourist and as a local. Also, talking to people from different cultures, laughing, and sometimes being surprised by the differences are a great learning experience for me and a lot of fun. People from different cultures can always laugh together. That's why I like Couchsurfing.

Interests

I love slow travel, learning about different cultures, and staying in one place long enough to understand the rhythm of local life.
I’m interested in simple living, deep conversations, nature walks, and moments of quiet joy.
I also enjoy reading, watching TV dramas, exploring cozy parks, hiking, and meeting people who are curious about the world.
In addition, I love keeping a diary, which helps me reflect on my experiences and growth. I’m also passionate about education and how it can empower people.
I’m especially fascinated by how people live and find meaning in different corners of the world.
I believe we can learn something valuable from every encounter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done is leaving a stable teaching career — including 3 years in Indonesia — to pursue my long-time dream of long-term travel.

After 11years of working as a teacher in a middle school, I decided to take time to explore the world more deeply. The world has become my classroom, and every place I visit teaches me something new. Traveling through different countries and regions has allowed me to learn about local cultures and daily life in a way no textbook ever could.

I believe Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to experience these cultures more personally and meaningfully. I want to meet people from around the world and share positive experiences together.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I can share about Japanese culture and language, and tips for living in Indonesia and traveling long-term. I’d also be happy to cook simple Japanese meals or exchange travel hacks!

Learn:
I’m curious about how people live, cook, and connect in different parts of the world. I’d love to learn more about local customs, languages, and ways of life.

Share:
I enjoy deep or silly conversations, exchanging stories, walking around town, sharing meals, and just being present. Let’s create a small but meaningful memory together!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’d love to share good conversation, stories from my long-term journey, and homemade Japanese food if you’re interested. I enjoy learning about local life and I’m always respectful and clean. I can also help around the kitchen or write you a small thank-you note as a souvenir from my stay.
