I grew up an Airforce "brat" traveled all over the US as a kid. We lived in Alabama, Minnesota, New York, Virginia, Oklahoma, California and Okinawa, Japan. Our family moved every 2 years and as a result we got to know lots of different cultures and people. I developed a love for exploring new places and making new friends.

My husband and I share a love for traveling and have had the opportunity through business travel to take our family to many major landmarks/Cities in the US...Niagara Falls, Arches, D.C., Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, etc. We also traveled to meet extended family in the Philippines.

We have found traveling is more interesting and meaningful when we get beyond the tourist spots and get to meet and learn about the people and their everyday lives, routines and challenges.
