What's happening:

I'm visiting Milan for New Year's this year, getting there on the 30th and leaving January 4th, 2017. I'll travel a little with a friend later on and we still haven't decided on a definite time table yet, but I'd appreciate someone who could host me for the first night or two and show me around a little.

I like to travel whenever I get the chance and I love meeting new people. I know that's probably true for 99% of people using this site.

I've just finished my bachelor's degree in English and Media Studies, used to work as a graphic designer and now wanna get into film making, something that's really always been my dream but also something I've put off doing because I was too comfortable. That's about to change, drastically. Traveling more and meeting new people around the world is a big part of that.

As of writing this, I've never used Couchsurfing before but a few friends of mine have both as hosts and guests. I'm looking forward to experiencing my own stories here.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

At some point in my life I'd like to not worry about travel arrangements and just book the next best flight and hotel room regardless of how much they cost, but I'm not at that point yet. Right now, traveling for me means experiencing new places and people, I wanna see the world from different perspectives and I wanna do dope shit in cool places. Staying with locals seems like the obvious choice here, as they know best how to live where ever it is they live.

Don't get me wrong, I love architecture and art museums, but I also love greats bars and clubs, hiking paths and rivers -- I just like experiencing culture.
