About Me
Hi! My name is Misha and I'm originally from Ukraine. I came to the U.S. four years ago for college and CT and am now in SF for work. I'm a musician (guitar). I also participated in the last revolution in Ukraine and have a lot of fun/crazy stories. I work as an analyst in SF and am trying to explore the west coast, now that my life has put me here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that all people are inherently kind: CouchSurfing is a manifestation of this belief for me. Meeting strangers and letting them stay in your home sound idealistic in a good sense and a little magical to me and I would love to be a part of this community. Since I grew up in Europe, I used to travel all the time. In the U.S., I have mostly seen cities on the east coast, while the west side of the country is still my unexplored land.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love late 90s movies (Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, and the Lion King, of course). I am absolutely in love with The Office.
Rupi Kaur's The Sun and Her Flowers is my favorite poetry book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Participated in the last Ukrainian revolution and spent weeks on the streets of Kyiv defending my and my friends' right to free expression.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play a few chords on the guitar after which you'll be able to play 90% of pop music.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Positive vibes, new languages, and Ukrainian secret recipes.
