Overview
About Me
After a city-themed childhood in Washington D.C., I decided to move out west. I graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham with a degree in mathematics, but my work and passion has been in environmental education. I have worked as an educator and naturalist in Central America, Washington, Alaska, and New Hampshire.
I am a new resident of Arizona and am currently working as an education coordinator and naturalist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hope to be able to visit many places in my life and learn from all the challenges I face in those places. Maybe I'll meet some of you fellow adventurers along the way!
Interests
I love to hike, ski, kayak and generally play outside. I have a big veggie garden and like to forage about in the forest and ocean as well.
Art and crafts are also a big part of my life, along with baking bread and pie.

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my favorite things about traveling is meeting musicians and experiencing the musical culture of other places. I listen to a lot of different genres of music, from bluegrass to hip hop and much in between.
