About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Originality

ABOUT ME

I lived most of my life in Jeju island, which is known for honey moon place in South Korea. So I have some typical traits of being islanders: I am pretty sweet and bright. I really like to meet, socialize, and get to know people from different backgrounds or careers. I think I am a 'romantic realist' which meanst that I like to explore new things while making sure that it is safe and healthy.

PHILOSOPHY

In the quote from one of my favorite Chinese literatures, "it is quite easy to find good person, but hard to find sincere person today." I am looking for people who are genuine, original, and sincere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't used Couchsurfing account for a while after registered. I have been extremely busy studying my research area to get MA degree in Contemporary Art in London. But now I finished and I guess I have more time to do couchsurfing or traveling.

Interests

I am doing a Master's programme in London, majoring in Contemporary Art. So I am definately interested in visual cultures, music, dance, movies, exhibitions, performances, plays, musicals... Basically, I can say everything related to arts. I also like beautiful nature scenes like beaches, sunset, mountains...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a South Korean, I had a privilege to visit North Korea for a short trip in 2000, which rarely happens. Seeing people there was having the same appearance and speaking the same language but was living in the 70s or 80s condition of South, I feel totally shocked and speachless. That was one of the most unforgetable moment that I have ever had in my life.
