About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Too many to list...learn languages, live on a boat, finish school,...it goes on
ABOUT ME
I was going to art school for my BFA but after talking to fine artists in the field, decided that just taking pictures wasn't enough and that I wanted to help. So I dropped out of art school, and now attend UCSC for their anthropology program. I also study linguistics.
edit.. I left on this most recent trip to try and think about my life what it is and what I want it to be. One conclusion that I´ve come to is that I want to be a part of something that gives back to the community. CS is one such medium, but there are others. The bike church, traveling trash bands, free stores, making stuff and doing things and most importantly being conscious and giving back...
As far as moving goes I rock climb and love it and would love to rock climb where ever I go. I mostly boulder, but am learning how to lead. I ride my bike everywhere, and since I don´t have a bike this trip I have started running. I also skateboard a bit, but don´t have a board...

Love life, you only get one, ride it like you stole it! Haha.
enough? Ask for more!
oh yeah! This might be helpful for some. I have a vegan friendly couch! Why?! Cause I am vegan! I would love to meet vegans from all over the world haha!
PHILOSOPHY
There is no set in stone philosophy. But I have Newtons first law of motion tattooed on me so obviously it must have meaning to me, so maybe that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host! And I surf! And I am fairly active in the Santa Cruz CS scene. (when I´m in town at least)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Done a lot of hitchhiking up and down the coast. I have lots of friends in different states. And my house is their house and vise-versa. Best couchsurfing experience was in Boston. The people I stayed with were awesome, made me food every night, wine, talking and partying. And they even gave me a key so I could come and go as I pleased.
Edit: I think my favorite CS experience is meeting people while traveling and then having them become really good friends or meeting up with them in other lands, or both. It's great!

Music, Movies, and Books
Really enjoy movies and books. Too many to list. I'm really open minded too, I'll read most anything.Really enjoying my reading for my Envirnment and Anthropology course...Just started school so that takes up a lot of time, but recently I've been reading into the Basque history, culture, and the Separatist movement...
I am teaching myself the banjo, I just bought a fiddle on a whim, and I bought a harmonica that I tool around on when I am riding my bicycle. So pretty much, I am trying to start a one-woman bluegrass band. ah-haha
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While living in Portland I volunteered with a program that fed low income families, adults, and the homeless.
Hands down one of the best things I have ever done in my life. Check it out if you are there: Potluck In The Park. They always need volunteers. Talk to David.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know cameras, how to garden (kind of), and basic bike repair. I can draw, and paint and make books too.
I am building my very first bike from scratch! Whoot!
I would like to learn more about farming, bike repair, sustainable living, and eastern religion.I want to learn how to breakdance!
