About Me

CURRENT MISSION

live, love, laugh, feel, just to be

ABOUT ME

I find I can't stay in one place for too long. I've spent the past few years working various conservation jobs that have taken me through the deserts and rainforests of the U.S. I hope that this lifestyle won't change anytime soon, and that I can keep traveling all my days.

PHILOSOPHY

You can never have too many limes. Or avocados. Vitality comes from the good earth. Love dirt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch right now, when I do you are more than welcome to crash on it any time. For now I'm hoping to show you that that person on your couch is not a lazy bumb, but a fun friend to inspire you out of that mundane daily existance that too often smothers us. And if you're ever in San Fran gimmie a ring and we'll drink some limes!

Interests

Adventuring in the outdoors. Snowboarding. Lying on hot hot beaches. Live music. Riding bikes. Yoga. Tai chi. Raw vegan cuisine (but sometimes I cheat).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies, I love comedies. Books, I'm really getting into John Steinbeck right now. Other favorites, Hunter S. Thompson, Chuck Palanuik, Herman Hesse, I could go on.... Non-fiction musts: The Cosmic Serpent; Tree, the biography of a Douglas Fur; The Secret Knowledge of Plants. Anything by Jared Diamond

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhicking through Guatemala is not the recomended mode of transportation listed in the guide books. But bouncing down a dirt road for two hours in the back of a pickup, watching the sky catch fire as the sun sank into the limestone cliffs of the jungle, ahh, that was a sight not to be missed.
