'ello! I am a Canadian/American student who is studying abroad in the United Kingdom as of late. My mission while I am over here is to travel as much as possible, meet amazing people, and see amazing things.

ABOUT ME

Greetings. My name is Emily and I am a native Canadian. However growing up I was able to move around quite a bit so I have seen and lived in some other places. Right now my home is in sunny California, although I am studying abroad for a year in the United Kingdom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am studying abroad so I am a surfer. I would love to get involved in Couch Surfing activities and meetings around my location and in the locations I travel to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just come back from a trip that lasted just over two weeks where I was hosted by some pretty amazing people in Paris and Belgium. Those were my first experiences using Couch Surfing. So far I think it is an ingenious organization and I am so glad it is available to help people connect with the world!

Huge fan of all forms of art. I like everything from mainstream things to the more strange and obscure things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been moving around since I've been a wee child. Because of this I have been able to see many places and meet many people. Having a rather nomadic lifestyle growing up (we weren't gypsy's, my family just moved around loads!) I have lived in Australia, all across Canada, and a couple states in the US. I think it's made me a pretty open minded person, who loves adventure and discoveries!

Teach, Learn, Share

We all have the ability to teach and learn from each other. There are some lessons that you will never learn out of a book. Sometimes you just have to grab the bull by the horns and live life to the fullest!
