CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to get to Africa by Fall 2008!

ABOUT ME

Since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of Africa. Over the years, many things have worked to try and stamp ou that dream. Last year, I decided that it was time to live the life that I wanted to live. I packed everything I needed and put all my other things into storage. I moved across Canada, to live in Montreal for the summer. Montreal is a French area of Canada and I suffering from Non-Bilinualism, could not get a decent job. In the fall I moved to Northern Alberta and started working in an elelmentary (primary) school.

I enjoy my work and have been saving money so that I can go to Africa. Through talking to friends I have decided to come to Kenya. I want to work and live in a rural village and plan to be in Africa for 6 months, starting in the middle of September 2008.

I am looking for someone who would like to have a guest in their home and also has some connections to a work program involving working with kids in a school or an orphanage. I will need a paid position, as I plan to stay for some time. I understand that I would not be paid much and that is fine, I am in it for the experience and to help my fellow human beings... just need a little pocket money to get me through!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to Couchsurfers and I am currently a traveller. After my travelling is finished and I am settled with a place of my own, I would LOVE to have visitors from all over the world come! I would love to show you my beautiful country of Canada!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've seen Time Square in New York City, I saw my beautiful neice not 2 minutes after she was born and have watched her grow over the past 6 years. I watched my 86 year old Grandma dance a jig in her living room. I have lived in nearly every Canadian province. The most amazing thing that I have done... allowed myself to believe in LOVE, at all costs and found that love.
