I am so grateful for being alive and able to experience all those amazing things life has to offer. There is not a day without feeling excited about learning more!
Traveling always brings wonderful things to my life and beautiful thoughts to my mind. That's why I try to organize my life around them. While I loved spending my time on the road for a long time, I'm now looking more for a place to stay for several months, immersing myself in the culture and feel more like home. I like to be able to choose where I want to be on this planet, depending on what my heart wants as I go with the flow.
Essentially, what I cultivate the most is having the freedom to make choices.
I'm used to traveling alone which is a great way to meet people, share great experiences and make friends for life, but I'm also a cool travel buddy!
I realized how deeply I value friendship and the connexions I made with people and friends over the years, all over the world. They are such a good and powerful energy and inspiration and I certainly wouldn't be where I am today without all those amazing people I encountered on the way.
If there is something that really makes brings joy to my heart, it is to see -and ideally make-people happy :)
I try my best to focus on the present moment (which is not always easy!)
Feel and spread loving kindness & compassion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately, I can't host people right now, but as soon as it changes I'd be really happy to do so!
All the experiences I had were positive, whether I hosted or surfed.
I had my first CS experience as a host in Chiang Mai in 2012 and that was amazing! I hosted many people for several days, they traveled for a bit, they came back again, and they all became good friends! I can't wait to do that again!
Nature, traveling, walking and hiking, the mountains, writing poems, painting, yoga, reading, spending time with my friends, listening more than I speak, laughing, The Buddhist teaching and philosophy, meditation, learning new languages, photography, you know... those simple things in life :)
I am very focused on personal development and always try my best to understand myself and the way I feel things. I am also a very empathic person and feel concerned with anyone else's well-being.

I escaped death on the Death Road in Bolivia! Lost the control of my mountain bike in a curve and landed in a huge bush down the ravine. 10 meters further was NO bush...just a free plundge to death :)
I escaped that plane crash in Nepal.
We wanted to book the first flight but it was full and they put us on the next one which was basically the same plane going back and forth every hour. The plane crashed 2 minutes after taking off. The 19 passengers died...
When I was 18, I was expelled from Canada territory because of a missing paper, I was overcome by grief! And the crew of AirFrance decided to let me go in the cockpit of the aircraft for 1 hour, I saw the landing, it was AMAZING, and I know that I've been lucky!
