Making people smiling is what I am here for. It is not always easy but by getting to know more and more people, lifes, stories, cultures there is a huge amount of experiences growing ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hosting CS fellows whenever possible, although I´m pretty busy and don´t have as much time for CS as I would like to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is a fantastic possibility to meet all these great people from all over the world you would never meet without. Got to know incredible guys, soul mates, persons you spent an unforgettable moment with and you´ll probably never meet again in this life time... Just enjoying every experience one can get with this CS idea.

Packed my stuff at the age of 19 to live in New York, packed my stuff again to live in Bali and now I´m living my dream in Barcelona. Life is too short to give up your dreams.

After quite some years as a host in Barcelona and based on around 10 requests a day, I´d like to share some things that I have learned, to teach you how CS is NOT working – at least not with me:
Please send your requests using the CouchManager. I am not answering to plain messages. It´s quite an effort to answer all requests, so I am selective.
I expect a little effort from your side, too. You're not writing to a couch but to a person with a couch. I´m offering you my home, so give me some more reasons why I should do that rather than that you don´t wanna spend money on a hostel.
First thing to start with: Before sending me a request, read my profile.
When you are sending me a request, please do not just copy what you've written to 'About Me' section into 'Why I'd Like to Meet You' section. I am hosting people based on their stories in that section, so again, tell me why you are the one out of the 10 that should be hosted at my place :-)
And if you are sending copy/paste requests: my name is Cindy...
