ABOUT ME

Something about me is that I like to laugh - it simply feels so good. And I'm a dane that moved to Stavanger in 2012 to write a PhD which I'm very happy about. I'm enjoying the different opportunities here, like going hiking in the mountains which was not an option in flat flat Denmark. I'm very curious which blesses me with a lot of (mostly) wonderful experiences and I'm definitely very active, loving to be outdoors. I started bouldering about three years ago which takes a fair amount of my free time. It's my meditation.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I had heard many people talk about CS, but I didn't sign up before 2012. I was moving from Copenhagen to Stavanger and figured that CS would be a good way to meet people and it gave me my first friend here.
I haven't been much of a host though as my housing situation has not allowed me to. But I keep my profile so when the possibility is there, it allows me to meet new people. Hopefully both parties get something out of time spent together.

兴趣

Naturewise - Climbing, hiking, scuba diving, relaxing in the grass, yoga, cross country skiing, snowboarding... active, active, active!
Citywise - Enjoying the life in the city, museums, theaters, concerts, chilling, getting a drink, parcs, architecture, design.

Also I cannot leave out my work, because I'm super nerdy regarding structural engineering. So outbursts like "look at the design of that bridge deck!" may occur :)

Books: Currently I have poems by Jacques Prévert lying on my bed together H.C. Andersen stories for night time. I love these stories for being so full of imagination.
