CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to bring love and beauty to those who cross my path. I do my best to live with passion, in full expression of my truth and pray that if I live with love and integrity that that alone will bring my soul peace and joy.

ABOUT ME

It's not easy to define yourself but I would describe myself as a free spirit - in the making. I love singing, chanting, wild free form dancing, any thing to do with ceremony or indigenous teachings, a great book wrapped under a fluffy quilt with a massive mug of chai, swimming in crystaline oceans bounding in and out of the ocean like a dolphin (though some how a teency bit less graceful).

I love women's circles with deep truths told, lounging around with close friends laughing long and loud, great movies that make me sob and watching butterflies dance and play around me. I love laying on the day bed in full sun and being overwhelmed by the magnificence of a Byron Bay sunset over the mountains and the sea.

I am someone who goes wild over beauty in all its forms: The beauty of good friends, loving family and life around me. I am most filled to the brim when I am exploring creativity in some way - singing, dancing, writing, and painting and I feel most connected to life itself when I take the time to connect with my own Spirit and the sacredness of everything around me.

Lately I have been reminded that every thing is magical if I only take the time to notice. I guess that I am on a journey of making my life less about the details and more about the magic.

I am at the tail end of this massive pilgrimage around central and south america and spain to reconnect with all the aspects of myself and find away to balance them all into an every day experience of life! I am hoping to find ways to be part of indigenous ceremony, learn about healing techniques and to find time for my soul to chant and express it self into fullness.

I love connecting with people and helping remind one another that life can be truly beautiful if we only dare let it show us. I really look forward to making new connections around the world, sharing great stories, belly laughs and excellent cups of tea. I know that if we are meant to connect, our Spirits will find a way. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Love it!! I have met some truly gorgeous connections on my travels around the globe and couch surfing has given me some of my most magical times!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had travellers stay from around that I have met sailing in the Whitsundays, on random walks on the beach and in little crystal stores. I am always open to sharing experiences with like minded beautiful souls and know that life is all about how much love we allow ourselves to both give and recieve.

Interests

Singings, wild free form dancing, songwriting, chanting, healing, ceremony, painting, photography, soul collage, reading tarot, a great movie or juicy "cant put down" book that makes me lose a week of my life whilst I get lost turning pages, great chats and silliness with like minded souls and connecting from the heart

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Pequeñas mentiras sin importancia ( Soooo great!!!), The Tree, Harry Potter Films, As it is in Heaven, The Princess Bride, The Notebook, Mr Hollands Opus, Cake, The Hangover, The Breakfast Club, The Motorcycle Diaries.

Books: All the Harry Potters and Vampire books ( new dawn etc - they make me lose chuncks of my life whilst turning pages!!), Anne of Green Gables series ( yep - no comment), The Four agreements, The Alchemist and anything by Paulo Cohelo, Anything by Freya North.

Music: I love all singer songwriter sounding things with sweet soft poignant lyrics and divine fingerpicking guitar with lots of space. I also love ballads of almost any kind and jsut cant help a good old occasional pop song ( bless me). And love love really interesting sounding stuff with wild instruments from other cultures and big juicy harmonies.

Sting is my absolute hands down favourite musician. I also love Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Paul Greene, Counting Crows, Miley Cyrus (I know, I know... but damn that girl can punch out a great ballad - I cant help it!!!), dido, mana, pedro guerra, chris cornel, pete murray and so many more...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Witnessing the brith of 4 of my nephews and neices was pretty amazing. Good Lord ... is that where they really come from?!!! Doing the last 100km of the Camino de Santiago when lst in spain was heaps of fun too and just recently doing another 250 kms was well... hmmm, an adventure!

The most incredible thing for me is really life itself and the constant miracle of love that I experience with connected souls in my clan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that we ar eall teaching, learning and sharing all the time. I see myself as a very innocent walker on this great path of life and hope that I can give as much beauty as I am always receiving.
