Sailboat DIY & language practice
I am working on ways to "travel in place" and continue to expand my world as I have a full time job and happy life in Oakland. I'd also like to return some of the hospitality I've received while surfing, I'm into the karma of couch surfing.
I live on a sailboat and can potentially host you on my second sailboat which is currently in project mode. I am more likely to accept your request if you express active interest in giving me a hand with a sailboat restoration project and/or can help me stay connected to the languages I've learned while traveling: Spanish, Portuguese and French.
I bike everywhere, so it helps if you have a means of transportation. My marina is about a 15-20 walk from the BART train station. I have an extra bike that you can probably use if I host you.
Live simply and always carry a pen.
