Backpacking August-December 2015 in Europe
I've met incredible people while making my way through South America and east/west coast USA. I'm in Europe until the end of 2015, hoping to immerse myself as much as possible and gain new friends and perspectives as I go.
My goals are to become conversationally fluent in French (I've been studying!) and improve my video production skills through practice. I'm also WOOFing and am interested in permaculture, sustainable building methods and socially responsible business models. I need to be active every day, walking, biking, swimming, doing yoga, standing while reading...doesn't matter how!
I want to provide a useful and fun exchange for anyone who hosts me. I have no expectations and am very independent but I also need to connect with people in a meaningful way as I travel. For me Couchsurfing creates a uniquely personal way to connect with other humanists and learn/share/explore together, the very best way to travel in my humble opinion.
I'll return to the lovely Oakland, California and would be delighted to show you around once I'm back!
Live simply and always carry a pen.
