About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn how to live without an itinerary...

ABOUT ME

I'm a 22-year-old dreamer, thinker, volunteer, writer, artist (photographer, painter, drawer.. is that the proper term?)and life-long learner. I moved from Grand Rapids, MI to just outside Chicago this past year. I'm in that transition stage everyone hits at some point... completely settled in the corporate 8-5 just because I need the money, but still secretly searching for what I really want to be in and want out of this life. I have a dog named Harley. I don't go anywhere without my hair and make up done. I don't smoke, and I always win at Scrabble. I love to write letters. I work out four days a week, and hate every second of it. I made a dream book of everywhere I want to go, with favorite lyrics, poems and quotes. I read a lot and like America's Funniest Home Videos. I'm kind of a loser, but I think it's cool. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Find a place to stand, and move the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I haven't had anyone stay on my couch... in fact, I don't have a couch, just a couple of passably comfortable leather chairs that look stylish. But I do want to host someone at some point... and I am in need of new friends and new travels. :) As a guest and traveller, I'm polite, respectful, clean, friendly. I like to bake, so I bring treats!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam with dolphins once (it was gross.) I rode a horse bareback in the ocean while it was pouring rain- that was pretty amazing. I made my sister wake up with me at dawn in Venice to go chase pigeons in St. Marc's.

Teach, Learn, Share
