About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To seek out new experiences in places I have never been and deeper ones in the places I return. To enjoy the time I spend at home with my family and friends and to continue to explore my own region and all its cool and quaint neighbourhoods.
ABOUT ME
I'm an friendly, outgoing, professional. I LOVE a good laugh, a glass of wine or beer and great conversation. I have gratitude for the amazing people, places and things the world brings into my life at the perfect times. I'm always up for learning something new or teaching someone something new! Being present and in the moment wherever that may be has really allowed me to find appreciation and joy in life.
If I happen to be traveling, my sister is usually with me! She's my travel companion for life! We have some of the best adventures together and we just are in sync when we're wandering. :)
PHILOSOPHY
Follow your heart, it's all good, be open and be real.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Europe helped to have my first couch surfing experiences! but I have surfed many a friend's couches, air mattresses, yoga mats, over the years. When I am able I reciprocate in kind to my friends and I look forward to a day where I can open a couch up for fellow travellers. I look forward to more surfing experiences!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed 'officially' in Budapest, Hungary and Garmish-Partenkirchen.
I wanted to take part in an Oktoberfest event, but couldn't find the group, however it did lead me to meeting up with 2 other awesome Couchsurfers. We found a tent, had some beers and had a blast!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My sister and I went on an 8 month road trip across Canada and the US without a plan other than to get to Vancouver by the summer. We stayed open, we asked for support and allowed our friends to take care of us when we were in their cities. We started a blog and really discovered a great deal about ourselves while being of service as well.
I found my own happiness :)
Cool stuff - walked on fire and glass, ate fire, been bungee jumping and sky diving, swam with sharks and stingrays, living in Australia for a year, manifested a kick ass job that allows me to travel and get paid to do what i consider play, scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty good at organizing spaces and 'fixing' problem areas where energy gets stuck. (like living areas or kitchens, etc.)
I just learned how to make some Italian dishes so I can share that info! Yum!
***If I have the right ingredients I make some stellar peanut butter chocolate chip cookies too :)
