ABOUT ME

I'm your typical Portland liberal, except I don't drink. Right now, public health is my life. I absolutely love my job and I'm six months away from my Master's. Academic passions include correcting health disparities and championing women's health. Future goals include both a PhD and an MD. I'll be spending my summer off school (sort of-I have a month of classes) traveling North America volunteering for various animal welfare organizations. Cats are my favorite animal, but dogs are such a close second. I dabble in the arts, with a preference for hip-hop and indie music, international film (especially Italian and Spanish-exquisitely weird at times!), and all sorts of literature. My diet is vegetarian, and like I said, I'm sober, but I believe in "live and let live," so I try not to judge anyone else's dietary and beverage preferences.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind and patient. Be flexible and adaptive. I'm not religious but I have a higher power. Be of service to others. Treat animals well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I move out of a studio I would love to volunteer my couch for surfing. It folds out into an almost full-size bed and is moderately comfy! Until then, I'm hoping to enjoy the company of others when hopping from locale to locale.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While living in Ireland, I surfed couches for almost 2 months after I ran out of money for hostel stays. I also lived in a closet for about half a year, it was hilarious.

Interests
