CURRENT MISSION

I got my Irish passport a decade ago, but haven’t had the chance to go until now. I’ll be living and working in Ireland for at least a few months, but before I settle into Dublin or maybe Galway, I’m going to look around GB for a month or so.

ABOUT ME

I went traveling in Asia and Europe for the first time ten years ago, and now after living and working mostly in Melbourne, I’m heading out again. I’ve been writing screenplays, playing music with my friends, and making furniture and doing general carpentry. I love live music!

PHILOSOPHY

In an age where humans are getting a pretty bad rap for all the terrible things we've done to each other and our planet, I still believe in the essential goodness of humanity and everyday kindness - like the kind found here on couchsurfing :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like cooking (I always buy good wine) and doing home maintenance (I'm a qualified carpenter) and playing guitar (If you like).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed the great, and not-so-great, couches of Europe. I was welcomed in paris, geneva, naples, rome, florence, and madrid, making lots of new friends along the way. I love the way couch surfing transforms you instantly from tourist to traveller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i think the most amazing thing i've ever SEEN is my son being cured of cancer when he was a baby, by the amazing doctors and nurses of the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Sydney. It nearly killed us all - but we survived! and he's now a 25 yo with a karate black belt.
