ABOUT ME

friendly, open-minded, and curious about everything. Although I like meeting up with local people when I am traveling, I am also a bit independent which means I won't ask you for all information about the city without researching it first. Therefore, sometimes my curiosity about a city may surprise my hosts.

I take photographs. Although I am not professional, I enjoy it. I also like great foods, music, learning some useful expression about a new language. I enjoy hanging out with people and have conversations. I really like walking or so call hiking with one or two persons at a time.

PHILOSOPHY

Sharism! I like when people start sharing with each other. It does not necessarily have to be just food or rooms. What is more important is our mind, life stories, experiences, opinions. And that is one of the main reasons why I joined CS.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am more than happy to host people as long as I have a place to stay after I finish my school.

I am looking forward to trying CS events in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started it in England. I did quite a few in Scotland, Canada, Europe, and the US. When I traveled in China this January, I had some amazing hosts as well.

In general I like meeting different kinds of people and sharing life stories and experiences with them. Based on my previous traveling experience, I found the most impressing thing along the journey is not the places, but the people I met.

音乐、电影和书籍

I like reading and books. Yes! not reading books, but books! I found books really appeal to me. What I mean is the smell and the feelings I have when touching them. lol~

I like music especially country music. But I think people like my age are not a big fan like me. So bad!

I like movies as well!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

*Cooked when I was very young since my parents were busy and I had to take care of my younger brother.

*Tried pho(a type of Vietnam noodle) and had it everyday for almost a week until I felt disgusted.

*Had more than 10 flights in a year and need to pack my stuff every couple months.

教，学，和分享

I am a native speaker of both Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese Chinese. I definitely would love to teach people who want to learn Chinese daily expression or anything you are interested about China!(one-child policy? more than 70 students in a class in high school? why are Chinese people good at writing exams? etc.)

I am good at cooking! Well, definitely not as well as your mom, but you won't be disappointed. I try to at least cook a dinner of Chinese style for my hosts, so if you like to give it a try or even learn it, I am more than happy to spend time with you in your kitchen.

Also, I have so many interesting life stories and experiences to share. For example, amazing people who I met before, wonderful places where i visited by the time I was traveling in England, Canada, and China.
