About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To give the gifts of joy and friendship to as many people as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm very sorry but unable to host forr awhile. I have been moving into a new apartment. . .and urgent health issues have made a mess of all my plans and schedules. I hope to be back in the hosting business soon. :)
People say i'm fun-loving and energetic, a night owl who loves people and animals. Not afraid to try new things and foods. Well educated but down to earth, comfortable in any situation. A passionate Christian who believes in living my faith rather than proclaiming it with words. Retired US Air Force Reserve officer who worked at the Pentagon and many other places. Respectful, honest and kind describe how i treat others.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others the way i want to be treated!
My philosophy of education, "Fun, fun, fun!"
The philosophy that has kept me sane in China for more than six years: "I can do this. Everything washes. It doesn't matter."
Interests
From sky-diving (when i was much younger) to car racing (just a couple of years ago), i like to have fun. Fishing is a passion. Eating is a joy. I'm a writer who thinks best when my hands are on a computer. Celebrating life, i am a breast cancer survivor!!
Although i travel alone, my family is very important to me. I have three grown children (2 married) and two handsome, brilliant, athletic and energetic grandsons. :) I promise not to bore you with a thousand pictures!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I watched a woman in Africa, who had walked all day to get to our clinic, as she gave birth to twins without uttering a whimper. The birth of a baby is miraculous whether one believes in God or not.
My father’s mental acuity keeps decreasing because of Alzheimer’s. Experiencing his ability to still show love is a lesson in humility. I may be there some day.
Jumping out of a perfectly good helicopter and then -- after the parachute opened -- floating UP because my canopy was too large and the humidity was very high was an incredible experience. . .a 3000' jump that lasted for more than a half-hour (and afforded me a long walk back!)
