ABOUT ME

Update: I just turned 30, waving goodbye to my 20's which were .... er .... informative but just a little boring. Now however I'm travelling the world. I quit my job and am using my savings to finance journey. So far I've seen Asia only. I kinda move slowly so that I have a chance to absorb the nuances of a place. I also love to take photographs. I shoot people, landscapes, objects and generally cool stuff. You can see more on my website (findingneel.com).

Me? I'm corporate turned creative. I love music, especially live music. Would be interested learning more about local bands. Also a huge foody and love trying new things. I've just learned how to make killer Vietnamese spring rolls. Yum. Finally, perhaps my favorite pass time is walking/hiking/trekking. Point me in the direction of the nearest hill, country track or mountain. It's my real passion.

Known to occasionally reach for lasers also. Love a bit of house music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

You always have a couch or even a bed to sleep on in London, my new home town, together with traditional Indian hospitality ... which basically means I'll feed you to death!

As a surfer I like to think I'm respectful of personal space and won't ask too many questions ... promise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A good friend introduced me to Couch surfing a few years ago when we hosted a someone from Eastern Europe. My friend and I gave a brilliant tour of London, including lots of little places off the tourist trail. This included the best pub in the world (The feathers in Marylebone), the Providores (a cute Spanish tapas bar) and Church Street Market. You think you know London? I know more ;)

Interests

Hiking and Trekking in green spaces, music, Arsenal FC, playing guitar, gadgets, yoga, photography, web design, crazy dance moves (throwing shapes). I think I've explained most of my interests above

The usual hollywood and bollywood stuff. I run a cinema club each Sunday in London. Huge Prince fan and enjoy reading biographies of important people (figure I might be inspired to be awesome too).

I've created a hiking group in London called Neel's hiking project with over 300 members. I also partied hard with Eduardo Saverin (co-founder of Facebook).
