ABOUT ME

I'm a costume designer with grown children. I've been doing genealogy research for over 30 years and am planning to start exploring UK and Scotland by using a combination of hotels, hostels, campgrounds, and couch surfing. I have my design studio in my house, so I'm flexible.

PHILOSOPHY

I live and let live. I don't judge people. I mostly hang out with drag queens and gay guys.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host passers through or those wanting to see some of Florida before moving on. I can direct you to (or go with) to lots of free activities such as beach (to see dolphins), hiking/nature trails (to see manatees), fishing (salt and fresh)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My accidental couch surfing experience. I was looking for some cemeteries in Arkansas & came across a relative who invited us to stay a few days to copy information, then called another relative who had information and so on. My daughter and I unintentionally couch surfed for a week in Arkansas.

I like all kinds of music, as long as I can dance to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 3 weeks in Mexico traveling from Veracruz to Acapulco.

I go on genealogy research trips, often to remote areas with no nearby hotels and have camped out in a cemetery.
