My passport got pick-pocketed just an hour before arriving to the airport and I did not managed to take the plane home with my friends. This was in London.

My friends went ahead without me. I survived on whatever amount of money I had with me for the next couple of days and had to figure out how to settle my documents at the embassy to get the next flight home. I was stuck in London for a week.

Survival mode! And I survived.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Always, always make a photocopy of your passport every time you travel.
And also, save the number and location of the embassy of your country for emergencies.
