getting back into the depths of music!!!

ABOUT ME

Since finishing Uni (degree in Sports and Exercise Science) in Townsville, Aus I've been changing careers yearly....from a musician on the wonderful whitsuday island resorts of nth east Aus to radio announcing, news cameraman, salesperson, music shop attendant, to english teacher (i guess) in Henan, China (gasp!!!) and now in Cairns Australia again with a photography company... i guess i change jobs so much cause so many thngs interest me...i pretty much find interest in anything... but particularly music (ethnic music is great - also wanna learn more flamenco guitar), yoga, meditation, buddhism, sport, travel (of course), filming and editing video camera footage and general open minded-ness... there are so many things to be curious about!!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe there is a growning conciousness amongst the growning generations, such as those of us on this very website who are opening up to a more world/ culture embracing view. Unfortunately, some things upset me such as the rapid decline of our earth's natural beauty and the corruption that power and greed have brought upon this earth. I, as a single person try to at least do my bit by being positive thus affecting those around me positively, a butterfly effect if you will....

at the moment i am living with my sister and gf in a nice cosy place in cairns... so i always have to run the couchsurfing idea past them....

had great people surf with me but never actually surfed with anyone else...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In the north of Yunnan, China i had the pleasure of meeting a tibetan monk who invited me to his family home and village for the spring festival. It was the most amazing experience of my life. Period.

教，学，和分享

I can teach guitar, survival Chinese/ Japanese and basically share whatever thoughts and philosophies i have running around in my head, but only if they want to be heard :). Easy going... thats my style (so i like to think...) but can party hard when the occasion calls for it. However, those occasions become rarer as i get older......
