My name is Mitchell Gentile and I am a 23 year old recent McGill University graduate living in Canada. I am currently based in Toronto working for a start up company as an Operations Analyst.

I am extremely new to couch surfing. One of my best friends who just graduated law school did a semester in Nice, France and used this site when she visited London. I am in love with travelling and figured this site could be a good resource to me to meet new friends when I am travelling alone.

I am currently seeking a place to stay for my trip to NYC the weekend of January 8th. One of my favourite broadway shows (The Color Purple) is closing January 8th and I splurged BIG and bought a ticket to her final performance. I am therefore looking for a place to stay for the weekend. I would love to make some new friends in the city. I have always wanted to visit Marie's Crisis Cafe so making new theatre friends that would join me on my venture there could be awesome!

I am on couch surfing because it seems like the perfect opportunity to meet new people around the world. I am new to this site and have yet to couch surf but I am excited at the possibility of travelling to new cities and meeting new people. My couch can also be open to anybody that wants to come to Canada!

I have a wide variety of interests. I am studying Psychology with a double minor in Behavioural Neuroscience and Sociology and McGill University so I obviously have major interest in those subjects. I also enjoy watching sports. I also play hockey, volleyball, and I try and hit the gym as much as possible. I am an avid theatre fanatic. I go to New York City as often as I can (once a month-once every two months) and I see multiple Broadway shows a trip. I also dance. I have been doing hip hop dance for a little while now.

I love theatre and especially the music that goes with it.
Being a hip hop dance I have to love hip hop music.
I am really a fan of all music. I appreciate the differences in musical genres and consider music a very important part of my life.

I am not a huge movie watcher. I love a good comedy on a quiet night but am not big into movies.

I will read anything and everything. I love a good book. If you are reading this on my profile send me a book suggestion, I can't get enough books to read!
