Overview
About Me
I'm a somewhat introverted Toronto denizen looking to meet some new people to broaden my world view and hear interesting stories.
I grew up in Thunder Bay, and moved to Toronto in 2014. I couldn't imagine living anywhere (permanently at least) now!
I work for a web development company and am definitely fairly geeky. Love to play games of any kind, solve puzzles, and go to escape rooms! Aside from that I've gained a new-found appreciation for art lately, and love going to the Art Gallery of Ontario as well as the Royal Ontario Museum. Always up for checking out a new event or festival, as well! Lastly, I'm always looking to do more athletic things -- skating in the winter, tossing a ball around in the summer or going hiking/camping, for instance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently traveled solo to Japan, and I had such an awesome time meeting new people from all over the world -- other travelers and locals. I'd like to pay forward some of the kindness I received on my trip, but also it really made me realize I have been living in a bit of a bubble the past few years -- I'd love to get to know some new people with different perspectives/cultures, converse, and also explore my city a bit in the process!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
Pretty much anything with Tom Hanks (Catch Me If You Can is my favourite)
Inception
Ocean's 11/13
Ex Machina
Music:
Pretty open, though generally not a country, heavy metal, or hard rap fan.
I listen to current Pop to get me through work!
Postmodern Jukebox is amazing
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just solo traveled to Japan for 3 weeks! :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
A couch, surprisingly! I have a relatively small space a couple minutes from Union Station, but my couch is often free so I figured I would see what this community is about!
I've also got a cat who is fairly friendly to new people... most of the time.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, France, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, United States
