I'm pretty easy going and love nothing more than a beer and enjoying the company of good people or watching good music, seeking adventure in different countries and landscapes, exploring far off cultures and soaking all these experiences in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couch surfing before my first overseas jaunt but never had used it, so its been many years since first setting it up and am looking to be more active by using it with in my travels. One of the best parts of travelling is meeting like-minded and not so like-minded people along the way, so I think couch surfing is a pretty great way to meet good company and share experiences with new friends.

Interests

I work at a live music venue so enjoy watching gigs and bands, hiking, bush-walking, swimming in the ocean. Any outdoors adventures are great but I do also enjoy a couple of drinks at night and wandering around cities at all hours.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am completely obsessed with music, and could quite easily spend all night talking about and listening to music. Im into everything from country to blues and soul to jazz and mainstream pop as long as it isn't hardcore techno or death metal.

Some of my favourite authors are Kerouac, Ginberg, Nick Cave, Camus and recently Murakami.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to be a skydiver for two years. And jumped once while there were severe bushfires and the whole skyline and countryside were ablaze a bright red. I was also quite blazed at the time so it was a very beautiful moment.
