关于我
Hi My name is Mitch! I'm 25 years old and was born and raised in Auburn Maine. I moved to Burlington Vermont in 2009 to attend college and after graduating with a BS in Neuroscience in 2013 I decided to stay here as I had fallen in love with the beautiful state. After 3 extra years in Burlington I just moved to Colorado where I will eventually be settling down in Fort Collins but for the summer I'm living and working at a summer camp in the Rockies.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
Currently I'm couchsurfing to move from Vermont to Colorado but if all goes well I intend to use it to explore much of the United States that I've yet to see, especially some of the more magnificent mountain ranges.

I'm very active and enjoy just about everything about the outdoors especially mountains. I am a very social person and can start a conversation with just about anyone or anything, including a brick wall. Skiing is an absolutely massive part of my life and plays a big part in my motivation to move out west. I definitely want to take advantage of the options available out west while I'm still young enough to be an idiot about it.

音乐、电影和书籍
Recently I've fallen in love with Shakey Graves, as well as the Alabama Shakes. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have always been a staple in my listening repertoire, as well as Alt-J, Sylvan Esso, and Cold War Kids. I enjoy most music but haven't been able to get into country.

I have a collection of interesting stories from my time working in research as well as participating in it ever chance I can. These stories include getting Cholera for science, spending 100+ hours in an MRI over the last three years, and participating in a diet study where I only at researcher chosen food for 2 months.
On my current trip to Colorado I will also be bringing a number of rare craft beers from Vermont and would love to share them with whoever I meet.
I am also willing to host any of those interested once I settle in Colorado.
