Overview
About Me
I'm Mithun, a curious explorer from Bhuj, Gujarat (India), passionate about fitness, trading, mental health, and meeting new people. I'm on a long journey from Feb to June 2026 to discover the rich culture of India, Kerala, Goa, and beyond!
I love deep conversations, morning workouts, and learning about how people live around the world. I’m easy-going, clean, respectful, and happy to share stories or help out wherever I stay.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to travel is by meeting people. I’m not just looking for a place to sleep — I want to understand local culture and make friends for life. I can offer great conversations, Indian cooking skills, and maybe even a morning workout together.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to old classic songs — they have a timeless magic that never fades. I’m not much of a movie person, but I do enjoy a good comedy film once in a while to lift the mood and get a laugh.
As for books, "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho is the most powerful book I’ve ever read. It deeply inspired me to trust the journey of life and follow my purpose.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed a 7-month Sadhanapada spiritual program at the Isha Foundation, where I lived a disciplined lifestyle focused on yoga, inner growth, and self-transformation. It was one of the most intense and life-changing journeys I’ve experienced — mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can share my knowledge of yoga, meditation, and spiritual practices from my time at Isha Foundation. I also enjoy teaching basic fitness routines, mindset techniques, and even a bit about forex trading and self-growth.
Learn:
I’m always eager to learn about new cultures, ways of thinking, cooking styles, and how people live meaningful lives across the world. I'm especially curious about local traditions, spiritual wisdom, and unique personal journeys.
Share:
I can share Indian culture, vegetarian home-cooked meals (if I have access to a kitchen), thoughtful conversations, and my positive energy. I believe in making genuine connections wherever I go.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories about Indian life, cooking vegetarian Indian dishes, help with digital stuff (tech, finance, mindset), and being a fun, polite guest.
