About Me

CURRENT MISSION

In the short term—work my but off and involve myself in as much stuff as possible. In the long term—travel more.

ABOUT ME

I'm a happy software developer and I spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen. I enjoy it a great deal and it is definitely not just a day job for me, it's my life. I also like to get involved in various interesting stuff, often too much to handle in the limited hours of the day. Ideally, I would like to start travelling a bit more at some point in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

If you do something—you do it all the way, you do the best job you can. I also believe that one should constantly fight to improve oneself more and more, and more. There is hardly anything impossible or a goal—unreachable. GO FOR IT!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is your couch :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing exceptional, I guess, but I've co-hosted a number of couchserfers in the past, together with some of my friends. It was a great experience for me—meeting people, so different from what I'm used to and from what I see daily, so unique and interesting. I hope to see you soon!

Interests

Computer programming-related topics, anything geeky, technical stuff, hardware and electronics, science stuff, language stuff, sports stuff (e.g. rock climbing, mountain-biking...), construction and craftsmanship, and more. Tons of stuff. The whole world is super interesting. Every single person is super interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a good (and sometimes not so good :) movie from time to time. It's a nice way for me to relax. I don't hate Hollywood :) Nothing special there.

As for the music, lately it's mostly rock, dubstep, electronic techno/trance, also classical music, popular songs, ethno, swing... A scary mixture.

In the past year or so I haven't spent much time over a book, sadly. I seem to prefer mostly fiction. For example, I was very fascinated by the works of Haruki Murakami and ate up all books, which were translated from Japanese.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A tough one to answer. I once travelled 150 km on my bike with a friend in a single day—in about 9 hours. I was nineteen, I guess.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very fond of trying to explain programming or technical stuff to non-programmers :) If you're interested, you're welcome to try me :)

I can't think of a single particular thing that I would like to learn. Anything you've got to offer, I'm here to consume :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Greece, Italy, Serbia

Countries I’ve Lived In

Bulgaria
