About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live a happy life. Help others do this.

ABOUT ME

I love life. We have a unique opportunity to live in the world and we must not waste our time and energy on vein things. I don't want to regret one day that I didn't do anything I could do but I didn't because of cowardice or laziness. I enjoy meeting and communicating with people, visiting new places, trying new things, accepting new challenges. Whenever I have a possibility to do it, I help others. This gives me pleasure and makes me feel happy.
You can find some of my travel pictures on https://www.facebook.com/thereisonlyoneearth
I am interested in developing international and multi and cross-cultural projects. In my work as a theatre director I had a pleasure to work with people from more than 20 countries. The company I direct is called Famille Mundi (World Family). You could find more about our projects on http://www.famillemundi.com/

PHILOSOPHY

To be in the moment, here and now.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting travelers, on my turn I've been hosted by incredible people. I participate often in CS gatherings, especially when I travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted many travelers. When I travel I also prefer to stay at somebody's place rather than in a hostel or hotel. That's the real way to feel and understand the local people and their culture.

Interests

theatre, cinema, photography, bicycles, dances, martial arts, travelling, motorbikes, anthropology, sociology, psychology, philosophy, religion, history, politics.

Music, Movies & Books

Many, many, but just a couple of examples: Waste Land, 10 Questions for the Dalai Lama, Johnny Got His Gun (movies); Bob Marley, Leonard Cohen (music); Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Catch 22 (book)

One Amazing Thing I've Done

If you open your eyes you'll see that everything around us is amazing no matter where are you. Some places that really impressed me are Times Square, Kyoto's Monasteries, Paris, football games in Istanbul and Buenos Aires, Rio's street fiestas, concerts of great bands all around the world. Something amazing that I did? Probably when I jumped with a bungee. I guess it's nothing for most of the people but for me it was really a huge personal victory because I have a great fear of heights.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could give acting lessons as well as English and French classes.

Countries I've Visited

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Laos, Macedonia, Malaysia, Monaco, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City State, Viet Nam
