ABOUT ME

I am very friendly and easy to speak to. I have made many international friends in my life so I can deal with "accents", no problem. I can be a little shy sometimes. I laugh very loudly. I am the definition of a Mexican-American-Canadien. =) I am very open to new things (food, art, clothing, cultures, opinions...etc). I am over all a positive, happy, creative, (sometimes loud) and sweet girl.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started my profile. I live with my Mexican parents and siblings. I want to travel while I have free time and money. Our doors are open for short stays to good people. My "couch" may or may not be available due to the fact I live with my family. However when I move out and update this part of my profile I will be FOR SURE Opening my couch to anyone interested in visiting me for short or longer stays.

I LOVE to SING. Anything that involves singing or creating music, I like! I am VERY interested in art. I do not know much art history but I really appreciate art. I love to COOK!! I love to DANCE too!!! Dancing is great for the body. I like to drink too when it is called for (parties/reunions/downtime). I tend to like ASIAN cultures a lot-- maybe because I had many Asian friends (Chinese, Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Mongolian, Korean, Filipino...) in the past. In particular, I have gained much interest in the Japanese culture. Either way I am always happy to meet people from around the world. Meeting new interesting people who share that same interest, meeting new interesting people, is my most favorite thing. I would love to travel all around the world if I had the money. Money is a big issue. I cannot do so many things because of the expense, I think many of us agree.

Books: Only stuff I HAVE to read. Do commic books count? how bout manga?
I only remember 3 good books: "Fifty Shades of Grey". "In the Time of the Butterflies" & "The Grate Escape" I can never remember the authors.

Music: I am SUPER open to music. I like EVERYTHING including classical. I get bored when I only listen to one genre.

Movies: I am a children movies fanatic. LOL. Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks/Studio Gibli family movies.
I definitely like "guy movies" more than sappy romances.
Give me something with a memorable plot, great character development and amazing acting. Those are the movies I like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have made friends with very poor people and very rich people. I have lived extremely hard/life threatening situations and with different cultures. I have also had amazingly beautiful moments with friends and family... traveling and meeting new people is amazing to me. It is always sad to say goodbye!
