Hi everyone. I'm Mizue living in Tomakomai in Hokkaido.

I was born in Fukuoka, the southern island in Japan.
Went to Tokyo for the collage, and worked there after my graduation.
I really love to do snowboarding, so that I went to the snow mountains every weekends when I was in Tokyo.
Tokyo is not my hometown, so I decided to move to Sapporo for snowboarding.
Then got married with a skier.

We went to Tanzania for our honeymoon to do Kilimanjaro trekking and Safaris.
Everything in Tanzania was amazing and inspired me a lot.

I got interested in Tanzania, so I applied to volunteering.

I lived in Tanzania, Africa, as a volunteer for two and half years up to June/2017.
I taught Math at the local secondary school there.

After my volunteering, I went to India for Yoga Teacher Certification. (I do yoga about 10 years)
Then now I teach yoga in Tomakomai!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because my husband and I like to know many things in other countries where we have never been to, and to talk with people!! It may be because we were volunteers in the developing countries from 2015- 2017.

I really want to improve English speaking more and my husband Spanish speaking more!
